NEW MUSIC: Alpha Wolf Team Up With Ice-T For Absolute Rager 'Sucks 2 Suck'

Tiana Speter

It sure doesn't suck to be an Alpha Wolf fan in 2024. Not only do we have new music today, in the form of the absolutely sweltering new single Sucks 2 Suck featuring everyone's favourite badass rapper and fictional detective extraordinaire Ice-T; but today the band have also accompanied the new tune announcing their long-awaited third full-length album Half Living Things, which will drop on Friday 5 April.

But back to the glory at hand today in particular, because Sucks 2 Suck is an insanely strong outing from the Alpha Wolf gents and something that needs celebrating. A hip hop and metalcore funhouse that goes entirely full beast mode? Yep. A track that'll burn down the stage in a live setting? Yes ma'am. And then we throw in Ice-T with a ferocious verse alongside all of the tantalising grooves and bounce house-ready beats? That, my friends, is pure home run territory, and with Sucks 2 Suck as well as the band's previous single Bring Back The Noise hinting at what else is to come on Half Living Things, we are undoubtedly in for a huge time with Alpha Wolf in 2024.

The band have already cemented their status with a massive 2023, including an unforgettable appearance at the inaugural Knotfest Australia, and they're already owning 2024 with new music, a current tour supporting The Amity Affliction and the return of their own curated festival, CVLTFEST, which returns this February featuring the lads themselves alongside a horde of local and international talent (head here to check out the lineup and snag tickets).

In the meantime, Sucks 2 Suck has also come armed with a delightfully mad music video, complete with cheerleaders, high school hallways and an unforgettable schooling from Ice-T for good measure.

Check the clip out below, and keep an eye out for more Alpha Wolf frivolity coming very soon.
