Currently churning through a 15-date metro and regional tour, Sydney sun-soaked sonic revelers Bootleg Rascal have busted out a mellow summer groover that once again plays host to the pair's pursuits in the reggae, dub and hip hop realms with Lonely Times.

Complete with sprawling melodics, bubbling beats and vocal tilts, Lonely Times glimmers in its lustrous simplicity and sharp production, bringing in the Bootleg boys themselves on production duties alongside long-time collaborator Ian Pritchett (Boo Seeka, Kim Churchill, Angus and Julia Stone) with additional production by Simon Dobson (Little May).

Presenting flickers of the group's past efforts in the world of easygoing pizazz while allowing vocalist Carlos Lara to bolster some contrasts into proceedings as his rap-esque flow oozes into slinky smooth vocals, Lonely Times is the perfect jam to remind you of those perfect summer days spent worshipping the sun, and will no doubt go down a treat live as the duo continue their live domination touring around the country.
