Good things come to those who wait; a fact especially true for fans of explosive Gold Coast pop punk icons Skyway with the band confirming their return from the dead after a lengthy hiatus in their wake.
A group whose career ignited as quickly as some of their boisterous riffs, Skyway went from playing hardcore shows in sheds to traipsing stages all over town with the likes of Parkway Drive, All Time Low, A Day To Remember - and practically any other hardcore and/or punk band making waves in that era. And while life, careers and other creative pursuits lent themselves to the absence of Skyway over the past few years, the gents have cemented their return in rattling fashion with the rollicking new tune Cut The Ties ferociously paving the way for an epic EP release next month. But before the extremely anticipated EP Hope Floats, Love Sinks unleashes, Tiana Speter grabbed frontman Dan McMaster to chat new tunes, cover songs and a whole new era for this beloved Aussie band. Audio interview below.
