MUSIC NEWS: Kisschasy Are Back & Touring Oz In 2023

Opinions may not keep you warm at night, but this news will! Whether you caught them charming crowds in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane over the weekend at Good Things Festival or not, it's undeniable that Kisschasy remain one of the most iconic and influential Aussie alternative artists - and absence has only made the heart grow fonder, with the group officially revealing a national tour kicking off in 2023.

Announcing a run of shows next May kicking off in Brisbane, before visiting Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Torquay, the beloved Victorian quartet will perform their first national tour in eight years, with Kisschasy's vocalist Darren Cordeaux trekking back to Australia from LA specially for the shows.

We’re really excited to breathe new life into these songs that we remain very proud of," says Cordeaux of the 2023 headline shows. "It’s humbling that our fan base endures almost a decade after we hung up our instruments and it’s reminded us that we created something very special together; a body of work that has managed to stand the test of time. This tour is for those who still hold our songs dear and have been waiting since we closed that curtain in 2015. We can’t wait to see you again.”

Forming in Mornington Peninsula in 2002, Kisschasy released three studio albums, two of which are gold certified, two gold certified singles alongside scooping up multiple ARIA Award nominations. They became festival darlings with performances at some of Australia’s biggest festivals including Big Day Out, Splendour In The Grass, Groovin’ The Moo and Homebake.

Don't miss Kisschasy's epic return to the headline spotlight in May next year, pre-sale tickets are on-sale this Thursday 8 December from 10:00am local time. General tickets on sale Tuesday 13 December from 10am local time.
