For whatever reason of late, I keep seeing these <insert generation here> vs. <insert generation here> articles, usually declaring so-called cringe behaviour of whatever generation in the spotlight and/or fashion resurgences that may cause many to break out into a cold sweat.
Having said that, what better way to announce myself as an aging millennial (anyone else thought we were Gen Y and suddenly we got shafted into that new moniker or is it just me?), than by showcasing a new album A Whole New Sound that just dropped boasting some alternative, rock and pop bands busting out covers of a range of Disney classic tracks as well as a few fresher cuts.
If you're a lover of a cover and/or any of the aforementioned Disney and alternative fare, you are likely all over the latest release. If not, come join the likes of Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Plain White T's, Simple Plan, Bowling For Soup, Mayday Parade, Tokio Hotel, BOYS LIKE GIRLS, We The Kings, LØLØ, Magnolia Park and Meet Me @ The Altar taking on everything from Part Of Your World from The Little Mermaid through to I2I from A Goofy Movie (an undisputed banger, if you know - you know) and Surface Pressure from Encanto.
With a heap of these bands also either recently here in Australia performing or about to, if you need an excuse to appease your inner child and/or add a couple of earworms to your day, A Whole New Sound is out now.
A Whole New Sound is out now on Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify via Walt Disney Records.
