SINGLE: Animal House ARTIST: Oh My My
Lust and love get thrown into a lush limelight by Sydney producer Oh My My and his dark and dynamic debut tune 'Animal House'.
The brain child of producer and songwriter Sam Thomlinson (of indie quintet Bad Pony fame), Oh My My has officially erupted into the fray with a brooding tune full of warped synths, bubbling beats and the silky smooth vocals of Kitrich (aka James Kitto).

Not skimping on healthy dosages of celestial light and ghostly shade, 'Animal House' is a striking electronic blend of soundscapes and beats, but with an ulterior spotlight on the powerful effects of lust. Of the track, Oh My My says: “We are all human. Although we all try to be the best version of ourselves, we all have that little demon inside. We make mistakes, we have struggles, we fight, we argue, we crumble and we fail. Sometimes we do things we’re not proud of. But that’s not who we are and most of us strive to be better. OH MY MY explores these struggles, while still remembering these mistakes do not define who we are. We are defined by our ability to learn from our mistakes and overcome them. I try to explore this lyrically, but also harmonically. This is why the music at times feels settled and familiar, while at others, unexpected or even shocking or twisted.”
Ultimately, Oh My My's debut is a hypnotic triumph, and if the skulking ecstasy of 'Animal House' is anything to go by, we're in for a dazzling ride ahead from this intriguing artist.
And as luck would have it - Oh My My has just this week also dropped a dark and moody clip for 'Animal House' which you can jump on below:
