Wonky silk meets simmering bliss with Perth phenomenon Your Girl Pho and her brand new single 'Feelen'.
Fresh off supporting The Avalanches, Post Malone and Alice Ivy earlier this year, this seriously talented overachiever (aka Phoebe Gunson) hasn't taken a breath, unleashing the 'Feelen' recently and also announcing a five-date tour kicking off later this month. And while her schedule may be overflowing, her fizzy tunes are a welcome addition to 2018.
'Feelen' recalls old-school jazz and soul with an enigmatic twist; some deliciously slinky electro-pop that bolsters itself over dithering synths and poppin' beats that grips you by the soul and drags you into a euphoric void. Perhaps unsurprisingly, 'Feelen' is all about the feels, detailing those beautiful moments when life sneak-attacks you with some self-realisation and drags you out of the passionless rut of everyday life.
Not just content with creating these sensory delights, Your Girl Pho's onstage antics are known to be just as dynamic as her tunes, having also roped in drums and sax for her live shows - and if you're in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth you'll be able to check this spectacle out in person with some shows headed your way from March 31st.
