SINGLE REVIEW: No More Sad Songs (THE DESPERATION)

SINGLE: No More Sad Songs ARTIST: The Desperation Some songs just make you want to crack a beer and bolt around the living room, and some make you stop and think about this crazy old world - but lucky for you, The Desperation aka Daniel Topp has got the solution to your existential crisis and lack of solid tunes for your next house party with romping new single 'No More Sad Songs'.

Following on from previous track 'Eightfiveninetyseven', 'No More Sad Songs' is another journey in upbeat melodic punk with a hint of rollicking sincerety - reflecting the modern dilemma of craving quality time alone amid the social situations that can make us all uneasy, intimidated or just downright dreaming about crawling into bed with Netflix as your only companion. Some may paint 'No More Sad Songs' as the anthem for the socially awkward, but it's in fact a whole lot more - a truth bomb that says what we're all thinking set to some infectiously upbeat and catchy pop punk, and quite frankly it's impossible not to crack a huge smile (and maybe a beer) listening to this toe-tapping little number from this insanely likable Queenslander.

The Desperation will be launching this bad boy this Sunday November 12th in Brisbane, before taking the show across select NSW and Queensland venues in an extra-special acoustic format. More info below, but in the meantime go wipe a smile on your dial and check-out the fun as hell clip for 'No More Sad Songs' below:
