SINGLE: PE ARTIST: The Burbs
They say bad luck comes in threes, but when it comes to Victorian rock punks The Burbs three is the magic number for this roaring trio who have just recently unveiled their snazzy new track 'PE'.
Rolling in with hazy guitars and woozy vibes, 'PE' is the embodiment of everything this lot are about, blasting garage punk rock tones over a dash of laid back grunge. And clocking in at 2 minutes and 13 seconds, the boys are clearly here for a good time not a long time, but behind this short and sweet fuzz-fest is the inescapable fact that The Burbs obviously take their craft seriously - this is a tight, memorable outing that oozes attitude and riffs, but never careens into a messy explosion of noise.
Giving nods to the '60s and '90s in one fell swoop, 'PE' is a hell of a good time, and one that will no doubt kick ass at their increasingly prominent live shows. "We like adding layers in the studio but keep it simple as hell on stage, we don't believe in pedalboards, respecting personal space, keeping our drinks upright or keeping our gear in one piece. We'd be doing it even if no one gave a shit." - The Burbs.
Whether you're looking for a tune to help you hang onto the last shreds of summer or you just need more blazing pop in your life, The Burbs have got you sorted with 'PE' - check it out below!
