SINGLE REVIEW: Sinister Sound (THE KITE MACHINE)

SINGLE: Sinister Sound ARTIST: The Kite Machine

Riffs take a colourful smoke behind the carpark and you're invited too with some candy-smoked heavy rock from Geelong trio The Kite Machine and their seductively snarled new track 'Sinister Sound'.

Boasting buzzing guitars and criminal grooves, 'Sinister Sound' follows a solid trajectory for The Kite Machine lads, starting life in 2015 with two singles topping the Triple J Unearthed charts, and continuing to bewitch ears over the years with their irresistible tones.

'Sinister Sound' is a bombastic, fun-tastic little slice of alt-rock that will groove into your brain and call to mind everyone from The Black Keys to Muse to Queens of the Stone Age, perhaps summed up best by frontman Levi Anderson: "Musically, ‘Sinister Sound’ is our attempt at making the stompiest, loudest, fuzz-on-the-peaches pop song we could manage".

If you're hankering for a little rock injection or just want to dabble in some off-kilter brutality, get yourself on board with The Kite Machine - you shan't regret it.

You can check out the thumping new video below, plus the boys will be hitting the road in late August and continuing until mid-October. All info below.
