Coating delicate guitars with her crystalline vocals, Tuva is never in a rush to tell her beguiling narrative on 'While Our City Sleeps', with a slow and steady tempo occasionally embellished by sprinkling pianos and whirring textures that meticulously illustrate the tale of an unexpected relationship breakdown.
Evoking both an unfurling journey and evocative emotion, the track marks the third single from Tuva's forthcoming self-titled EP, and deftly avoids descending into just another break-up sob story. “Whilst everything is feeling dead in the middle, you hear that things come back to life with the vibrant change in the composition and optimistic change of pace at the end of the piece,” Tuva explains.
