Auspicious post-metal/sludge lords Lo! have been riding high since their third full-length 'Vestigial' released last year, and as an early Christmas present this year the heaving quartet have released a brand new clip for the haunting tune 'Bombardier' - and it's Lo!, but not as we know them.
Featuring footage shot on the band's tour of Japan earlier this year by Will Robertson, the clip juxtaposes the sombre ambience of the track with the coarse ferocity these lads pack into their live performances.
While the intense contrast between the audio and visual elements may seem worlds apart, the final result is one of affecting and intimate intensity that digs deeper into a band more frequently lauded for their aggressive riffs and dizzying soundscapes.
Comprising Lo!'s most engaging and dramatic tracks yet, 'Vestigial' continues to be the gift that keeps on giving, and this latest video is a welcome addition to close out 2018.You can check out the new clip for 'Bombardier' plus more Lo! info below:
