SINGLE Parable // ARTIST For The Wolves
With a blend of blazing menace and potent emotion, Brisbane rockers For The Wolves unleash a barrelling alt-rock beauty with their brand new track Parable which officially released into the world today.
With tantalising influences spanning Tool, Mastodon and Pink Floyd, it's little wonder Brisbane's For The Wolves consistently deliver elegant polish since forming as a duo back in 2015 before evolving into a solidified quartet in more recent years. And while the band are already well-established in the Brisbane music scene, thanks in part to their ferocious live performances, it's on their latest track Parable that the gents level up once again, presenting a tune laden with high-octane riffage and crystalline production that'll please a gamut of fans of the rock and roll persuasion.
Gifting some significant stadium rock anthem vibes, Parable is equal parts refined and burly, packed full of blazing guitars, oscillating textures, impassioned vocals and some jaunty drum interludes reminiscent of Cog and the like. Powerfully flying the flag for passionate modern rock, For The Wolves continue to strike an engaging balance between melodics and crushing textures; a fact further heightened by the addition of the incomparable Luke Palmer (Dead Letter Circus) on production duties and Forester Savell (The Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus) weaving his mixing magic.
With the hint of some live outings and more new tunes on the horizon for the band, For The Wolves are certainly not taking this pandemic nonsense lying down as they continued their fastened pursuit to merge artistic finesse with relentless sonic vigour. But in the meantime, for a guaranteed burst of sonic exhilaration: come get a lesson in hard rock alchemy and come wrap your ears around Parable.
