Good Things Festival kicks off in a little over a month now, with the mammoth travelling music celebration set to return to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this December, boasting a horde of international legends, local heroes and budding dreamweavers spanning metal, alternative, pub rock and beyond!

Once again, The Soundcheck's Tiana Speter is behind the mic for the festival's official pre-fest interview series, Good Things Brings, spending some time with some of the epic acts locked and loaded for the 2025 edition - and a brand new episode is now live featuring a genuine icon of the music industry: Butch Vig of Garbage (and a heap of other stuff) fame.

The man who is not only behind the kit for longtime rock legends Garbage, Butch Vig is also the producer extraordinaire behind the likes of Nirvana's Nevermind, The Smashing Pumpkins' Gish, AFI, Against Me!, Jimmy Eat World, and a whole heap of other acts that requires their own articles. But ahead of Good Things, join Butch and Tiana for the official pre-festival interview series Good Things Brings chatting festival memories, what Butch listens to in his downtime, recent 2025 Garbage album Let All That We Imagine Be The Light and more!
