Ballarat young guns Ebonivory seem to attract the "next big thing" label more than the invention of sliced bread would have back in the day. But while such a label would daunt and weary so many others, there's a distinct taste of something extra special in the taut and jaunty tunes this alt-progressive metal quintet wield on the regular, and their latest release Tales of Termina is yet another dizzying testament to the Aussie music industry's ongoing Ebonivory love affair.
Traipsing through 2019 leaving a trail of booming success along the way, including supports alongside Dead Letter Circus, Circles and a hell of a lot more, Ebonivory are certainly not resting on their remarkable laurels, with their first ever headline tour in honour of their latest release kicking off next weekend. And earlier in the week Tiana grabbed some time with frontman and chief sonic visionary Charlie Powlett (accidentally on his birthday) to talk triumphs, new tunes and more! Audio interview below.
