We are now halfway(?!) through July, and you know what that means - it's time for another update for The Soundcheck Mixtape! At the start and midway through each month, The Soundcheck busts out 15 songs onto the mixtape on Spotify, boasting an array of new, not-so-new and throwback tunes that are kicking around Tiana Speter's speakers right now.
For July's second mixtape, cover band Circles come roaring back with their new track Sleepwalking, alongside newbies from Banks Arcade, Yours Truly and Eat Your Heart Out. There's plenty of heavy fare courtesy of Bring Me The Horizon and I Prevail, as well as some sparkling additions via AURORA and st.James. And it's only been two weeks since Stranger Things dropped volume two of its mammoth fourth season, but it's safe to say the majority of us out there are still not recovered from that scene with fan-fave Eddie Munson: thus, it would be a crime not to close out with Metallica's Master Of Puppets.
