NZ heavy metal trio Alien Weaponry have frequently whipped their badass thrash all over the globe, and 2019 sees them return to our shores with their Tūmatauenga Australian Tour kicking off in March - and they're bringing some stellar local talent along for the ride.
Coinciding with appearances at Melbourne and Sydney's Download Festival in March, the group, described as Māori Sepultura, will be blasting off in Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth, with locals Copia (in Bris, Canberra and Adelaide), Take My Soul (in Bris and Canberra) and Hidden Intent (Adelaide only) joining proceedings.
Not content with minor domination, this August will find the explosive trio supporting Slayer and Anthrax in Germany on Slayer's final tour - a spectacular feat for most bands, but particularly so for this young group who continue to stun the metal world.
But wait, there's more! If that wasn't enough, tomorrow the group will also unveil a new 10-part web series 'Rū Ana Te Whenua: Alien Weaponry Shake Europe' that follows the group's 2018 European tour. You can grab a taste of what's to come below before tomorrow's release to keep you satiated until the lads hit our shores next month.
