Deep in the chasm where groove metal and melodic hard rock intersect is where you'll find Newcastle quartet Chaosaint, a group bursting with a newfound identity ahead of their debut EP release In The Name Of this Friday 19th June.
Formerly known as Exhale, the group embarked on a lengthy break before barreling back to life as Chaosaint with a revised musical direction as well as a distinct fervour for grooves, chugs and hooky heaviness that has flickered with the group's debut single just last month.
Currently labouring in a COVID pandemic world, the group's live music plans have faced the same industry-wide setbacks; but in the face of isolation and restrictions, the quartet are now full steam-ahead to unveil their debut offering this week, with the entirely self-produced EP showcasing a culmination of recordings dating back to 2016, as well as the group's firm sonic identity as they step into this new chapter.
Offering dynamic energy and plenty of hooks and savagery, In The Name Of will appease both the metalheads and hard rock aficionados alike, and paints a promising future for this Newy bunch as they embark on this exciting new phase in their musical adventures.
CHAOSAINT WILL OFFICIALLY DROP THEIR DEBUT EP IN THE NAME OF THIS FRIDAY 19TH JUNE, WITH PRE-SAVES AVAILABLE RIGHT HERE. FOR ALL OTHER CHAOSAINT INFO, HEAD HERE.
