MUSIC NEWS: Make History With System Of A Down This Weekend

Headbangers unite! With June 30, 2023 marking 25 years since seminal, heavy metal band System of A Down released their debut self-titled album, featuring standout hits ‘Sugar’ and ‘Spiders’, the band have something special planned to celebrate its half century anniversary - but maybe not how you'd expect.

In an attempt to break records and memorably toast 1998's System Of A Down, Sony Music Entertainment Australia are asking fans to be part of history and come along to a SOAD-inspired event at The Enmore Theatre, Sydney where there will be an attempt to break the current Guinness World Records title for most people headbanging simultaneously. The current record stands at 529 since July of 2018.
