It's a nice time to be an Aussie Thrice fan today, with the American post-hardcore legends officially confirming they're headed our way this September to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their beloved album The Artist In The Ambulance.
The band will be performing their seminal record in its entirety across five capital cities with stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
Released in 2003, The Artist In The Ambulance album spawned two massive singles, All That's Left and Stare at the Sun.
On the upcoming tour, Thrice vocalist and guitarist, Dustin Kensrue shares “Some of our favourite memories of touring in Australia are from the first time we toured The Artist In The Ambulance there. There was such a great energy to those shows and we can’t wait to do it again.”
Following the group's stunning 2021 album release Horizons/East, Aussie fans have been poised in wait for the group to return, and this week has been music to the ears of fans keen to catch one of the most engaging, evolutionary and electrifying rock acts of this modern generation. September cannot come soon enough.
General tickets for Thrice's Aussie adventures later this year will go on sale this Friday 27 January from 11:00am AEDT. But if you're keen to snap up tix before then, pre-sale tickets are live now from both www.sbmpresents and www.thrice.net.
