Just like an actual phantasm, this week alt rockers Far Away Stables threw down a sneaky little music video ahead of their huge album release on May 12th. It's the latest hint of new music since 2014 for this intriguing heavy band who have already cut their teeth sharing stages with the likes of Paramore, The Offspring, British India and Northlane to name a few. Far Away Stables have been kicking around since 2011, and their bewitching sound packs a hefty punch with a heaving complexity that throws back to some of their influences (30 Seconds To Mars, Brand New and The Getaway Plan amongst others).

Latest single 'Phantasm' is up there with previous single 'Caldera' released last month, boasting scorching guitars and raw vocals - and a slick little video to boot that may have you checking under the bed for a week after watching. Check out the music video for 'Phantasm' below, and keep your ears out for the brand new record 'Between Rage and Serenity' - available from Friday May 12th.
