GUARANTEED TO JOLT SOME EXPLOSIVE GOOD VIBES INTO YOUR BRAIN, COME SINK INTO THE FAB AND FLASHY NEW JAM, WITH THE SOUNDCHECK PROUDLY PREMIERING THE NEW TRACK TODAY!

Supercharged with smoky funk, pumped-up rock and some incredible local talent, Brissie group Mercurious are a band that came to life under the unified goal to remain uninhibited and unencumbered by creative restriction; a fact seen in ballistic technicolour on their latest track Revelation.

Boasting a genre jumble that'll have you salivating from the get-go, Revelation is a rhapsodic delight, home to frantic fretwork, slick basslines and pummeling drumwork. From the glittering instrumentation to the palpitating rock helpings, Revelation is a gleeful nod to retro pop and rock, lined with a jazz infusion that'll rip you headfirst into a blazing parallel universe.

"This is a song I’ve always wanted to write. As a massive fan of artists like Michael Jackson, and other 1970s and 1980s icons, I had always dreamed of fusing those influences with prog rock/metal. Out of that desire, Revelation was born. The song’s funky, jazzy, and energising riffage is polarised with Rhys’ passionate lyrical content. The lyrics touch on the growing wealth inequalities that we see globally, and the knock on effects it has on the rest of society’s ability to prosper" - Raouf, guitarist

A relatively new project, comprised of some seasoned local musos, Mercurious are undeniably poised to turn heads with their sharp yet delectable brand of prog; and like a jalapeno twist in an icy margarita, Revelation is a welcome spicy kick to the senses that'll leave you wanting more.

KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR MORE TUNES FROM MERCURIOUS IN THE NOT-TOO-DISTANT FUTURE, BUT FOR NOW YOU CAN CHECK OUT REVELATION BELOW IN ALL ITS GLORY.
