Justly defined as "ones to watch' since debuting under their current moniker last year, Brisbane quartet Patient Lounge are the antidote to stale rock and roll. Armed with a delicate blend of rock, prog and smatterings of jazz and pop, the group have steadily honed their intricacies while snagging coveted tour supports and shows alongside the cream of the crop of the Aussie alternative world. And while speakers all over town have had a chance to taste the potent power of Patient Lounge already with their debut single All You Want out last April and a follow-up single New Man earlier this year, the gents are now unleashing a kaleidoscopic visual wonderland for their jangly tune All You Want.
Teaming up with actual visual wizard Adrian Goleby and inspired by their whimsical single cover art, Patient Lounge grasp the smoky grooves and colourful licks from their debut tune and deliver a video outing that perfectly encapsulates the band on a whole: eclectic, vibrant with touches of smoulder (and a healthy dose of rock and roll):
"We really fell in love with the amazing artwork that we got for 'All You Want' by Agnes Cecile and wanted to emulate that vibe in the music clip. It was actually pretty crazy - to get that smokey effect we literally had to fill a shed with probably toxic coloured smoke, but that's rock n roll babyyy." - Patient Lounge
